Plot ghost story

Am attempting to plot a ghost story below a plan drawing by putting two drawings on a layout sheet, one on top of the other. Both drawings are set to "transparent background". However, I can't get both of them to show up. Spent some time with the display order command, but still can't get them to both show up at the same time.
Any solutions out there?

did you check your pens and view settings ?

I think plotting the Trace Reference (Ghost Story) is not available when plotting.
When printing, you have the Print Reference checkbox which will enable you to print the Trace Reference.
So you will have to print.

I guess that explains it then, in terms of trace reference. But if I put a drawing on top of another in the layout, why won't it print both drawings.
That would be a hand feature in some situations.

Actually am not able to print the trace reference either. Have selected the "print reference" and have tried it both with "transparent fills and zones" both on and off. Have tried it both as "black and white" and also with that unchecked in the print box as well. Unless I'm missing something, I don't think that check box does anything.

Of course, it's could be the printer. It is a HP office jet, prints in black and white and color, so I don't think the problem can be with that equipment.

Perhaps I should mention that the reference is a floor plan below the current floor plan. It shows up on the display, but will not print whatever is below the active plan. It will print what is not overlaid.

If possible, save or print to a pdf file, then print that.

That would probably work.

I turned off the layer with the floor slab in it, which then allowed the story below to print. That would appear to mean that the "transparent fills and zones" checkoff does not work on slabs.

From ArchiCAD, not the layout, select to print and select as attached.
