Screen capture: "click and drag" this rectagle will make a PDF of your current computer screen.

Printing from 3D Window:
1. If you set you Page up ahead of time, you can get it in landscape mode and change paper sizes in that preference panel.
2. You can create a new View as well and control scale and other things, then pull this up in PlotMaker where you can set page size and orientation as well. As you probably know already, AC wants to work in this way; where you create view sets and use PM to place onto sheets.

Hope that Helps,
Anne,

When you say that you can't print any thing, do you mean that the "Print" option is grey toned in the file menu? Or you are unable to find any print options?

If the "Print" option is active, you have an array of options in that menu. If you change your pull down menu to ArchiCAD, you are able to set, for example, all colours to black, scale, headers/footers etc etc.

See attached image.

Cheers.

Can you give us more info about your setup? Machine type (G5?) OS version? Printers installed? ... that kind of stuff. Then, try to post an image of the screen where you describe the problem, use the screen capture on your mac for this.. then we can help better!
Ben,

I don't have the array of choices that you have in the Print pull down menu. The only choices I have are standard or save as. Do you know how I can change these options so I can select ArchiCad in the pull down menu?

Thanks,
If you take, CMD+SIFT+4 this will give you the screen capture tool.

It would be really nice to be able to see what you are seeing as well.
Ahh, I think I know what you are doing wrong.. you are clicking on the "PRESETS" tab, unless you have defined any (and I can tell you have not:) this will be of no use to you. You need to click on the "COPIES & PAGES" tab to get to more selections like this:

Pablo,

Yes I am in OSX. You are right, I haven't set any presets and was able to get to the printing pull down menu I was looking for in the Copies & Pages tab. However this only lets me print 2D. When I tried printing a Prespective, I went to the Copies & Pages pull down and suddenly, the ArchiCad option was gone. As far as the screen capture tool goes, I used command + shift +4 and saw a cross hair symbol. What do I do after that?

Thanks,
