<T>In an effort to save time (HA).... I'm trying to avoiding modeling or drawing part of an existing house, by scanning an original blueprint.... and then pasting it and a drawing of my model on a layout sheet.

I want the scanned drawing (it's a TIFF) to print with a grey scale.... but I can't seem to change the pens for the drawing.

Any ideas?

PS:
I also tried dropping the TIFF on the layout as a "Figure", but I can't trim or reshape the image.

This is in AC10 815 USA Full</T>

Can you edit the TIFF file to make the lines grey? (You could then also delete the detail references.) If I understand correctly you cannot alter the pen set for this as it is an image, not lines etc.

I'd go this route.... if I could change the color of a figure.

If I knew Photoshop better.... I think I could do it there...

But I think your right.... no pens .... so how do you change their color

How else would one edit the TIFF?

Just switch the file to greyscale in photoshop.

Image>Mode> grayscale
