You shouldn't need Acrobat for this since you are on OSX. I am not sure what the problem could be though; I can't reproduce it on my machine.

I assume that you are saving the files with the file type set to PDF (i.e. not publishing a print job to PDF.)

The "Page Options" and "Document Options" buttons should show you the settings for the items to be published.

<T>We're trying to publish from PlotMaker to a View Set established with 11x17 layouts saving in PDF format.

However, the published PDFs refuse to save in anything but 8 1/2 x 11 size! - cropping out any information beyond that sheet size...

I can successfully create the 11x17 PDFs when printing & creating PDFs directly from the print dialog and bypassing the publishing function but this is ... um... annoying!

I've searched here, and rummaged through all the Acrobat/Distiller/Page Setup toggles I can find - but to no avail.

Anyone know what might be going on? We're on OS X Tiger/Acrobat 7.0.5.

Thanks!</T>

Thanks for your help, Matt. S'funny - this used to happen to us with custom page sizes in OS 9 where no matter what we did in page setup the PDF always reverted to the default portrait-letter size set in Distiller.

So I was searching for some "hidden" toggle like that... today I printed a similar PDF from another layout book without incident... crazy.
