Please Help

What is the right way to work in ArchiCad having different objects in different colours like in Auto Cad and have transferring pens setting in PM or have them all black with different pens weight and same setting in PM.

I need to know reasons for and against it.

I think colours to differentiate objects are side effect of AutoCad users.

Maybe I am wrong?

Most people I know use colors in ArchiCAD to help differentiate the elements.

I recommend reassigning the drawings' pens in PlotMaker which allows you to change the pens you want make black while retaining desired grays and colors.

Some prefer the simple route of printing "All colors to black" in PM, but this precludes the use of gray and color.
