Unfortunately, they also disappeared in the Project Map. Initially I draqgged the details from the Project Map to the View Map. I initiated the detail process again last night by utilizing the detail tool and identifying a detail from a wall section. It appeared in the project map. Instead of dragging it to the view map, I pressed the "Save View" button to save the detail to the view map. This morning the detail seems to exist in both the Project Map and the View Map. I haven't yet imported it to the Layout yet. I had done that previously with the two details that I "lost." I'll try placing the detail on the Layout and closing the project to see if that is a problem.

Detail Tool and Process

<R>Newbie here. I'm finishing my first project in ArchiCAD. I started it in 9, and upgraded to 10 midstream. I did not merge my project. I'm giving this background in the event that it may be relevant to my issue. With the Detail Tool I identified two details from a wall section, both of which appeared in the Project Map, which is expected. I dragged them into the View Map, where I finished them to my satisfaction. I saved the project and upon opening the next day, they were not to be found. I redid one and the same thing occurred upon opening. I'm working and not getting anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks. </R>

Have the Details disappeared from both the Project Map and the View Map or they disappeared from the View Map but remained in the Project Map?
