    <description>You definitely don't want to use separate .PLN files for each detail. There are a number of better methods to use. You can find some here if you run a search (it's at the top of the page). You can also get a good start here:&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;As a new Archicad 11 user i would like to know the best approach to incorporate a file structure for my standard 2d details. as of now, i have each archicad detail as an invidividual file (.pln) and incorporate into each project to build my detail sheet. can i somehow consolidate my details, incorporate into a profile and use only project specific details, getting rid of the details i don't need? - thanks!&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>i don't think you have to have each detail as a separate file, you can link to a marker, open up that detail and paste the detail in that view...</description>
