Door Marker in section/elevation

We use the marker tool to label the door based on the zone number (ex. 101A 101B...ect). It works well in plan but I cant get the marker to show in section/elevation.

This is one of the stranger ways of working in archicad.
To get them to show in s/e windows:
1. open the section or elevation window
2.Select all windows and check the 'Label elements' box.
3.Select all these labels (activate label tool and ctrl/cmd+A)
4. change type of label to window label of choice.
5. check the 'use symbol arrow'
6. set size,font, shape of marker etc.
7. use ID

same for doors but use door label

anyone have a way to label door and windows in this manner in ArchiCAD 24 where the doors are numbered using the zone number not using the ID.
