topic PDF settings in Documentation

<T>When printing to adobe PDF documents with publisher, the PDF files seem to carry various layers of information from the model. I can see all these elements being drawn on top of each other when I open the PDF documents. Is there anyway to turn off these layers so that the PDF documents are "flat"? I want to keep the files as light as possible.

thanks
we use macs but also find that archicad spits out very large pdf files. our usual practice is to post-process the archicad pdfs in acrobat pro to reduce file size. a many-mb file can be reduced to less than a mb.

it would be great if archicad could publish optimized pdfs directly from the publisher.
