How do I snap to the "railings" on a Stair Object for dims?

<T>see attached.
bascially, the stair object has hotspots at the ends of the treads...that's great. Now...how do I toggle the "railings" ends (both width and length extension beyond the end of the tread) in order to properly dimension the stairs at a large scale plan?

Please...advise needed.</T>

I am afraid the StairMaker stairs are not programmed to generate hotspots at the end of railings. The ones in the default ArchiCAD library have hotspots there, but maybe you are not using those.

All I can suggest is that you make a wish for this.

How very sad Lasz.....
So...I have to draw 2D lines on top of the stair rails within the object just so I can dimension them?
