1. First open an elevation.
2. Select all the windows (activate the window tool &select all ctrl/cmd+A)
3. IN the info box or the Label & Listing Tab of the Window setting box check the Label Object box.

4. deselect the windows and activate the Label Tool. Select all the labels that appeared one on each window.

5. change the label type to Window Marker and then edit the settings so it looks like you want it.

6. Be sure to check the "Use Label'S Arrow' because the arrow for the window marker is to NOT have and arrow.

7. Note that in the window label you can have it read the ID box. I suggst using this as you can quickly fill in the door/window ID in your Info Box.

Do the same for doors and then repeat for each elevation.
Hi, I've tried following Erika's advice above. I get stuck at point 5. 'Window Marker' isn't an option I can choose in the drop down box.
Nor is door marker for that matter.

Am I missing something????
Am I meant to load it from the 'load other label' ??

All advice appreciated.
Seems like there may be a little glitch there.

1. Try selecting a window in the plan view and enable the label there.
2. Then select the same window in elevation and enable the label there also. It should show up.
3. Then you can go back to the floor plan and turn off the label.
4. The label will still appear in elevation and all subsequent labels should show up in elevation without the need to show them in plan first.

Let us know if this works.

Cheers,
