Labels Moving Down

<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content">We are having an office wide problem that we have been having since we started using Archicad. The Labels have been moving down. Most noticeable when the labels have an arrow, but it also happens with labels with no arrows. I have not noticed what causes this to happen. The only work around that I have found is to select all the labels with cntrl+A and open the settings and hit "ok". Is there something we can do to fix this? It is really a hassle to have to fix it every 5 minutes and have to check each sheet prior to printing. Thanks!</DIV>

Thats not the problem - the pointer is always set on the middle. It seems that some action makes all of the labels on a view move down. Has anyone else experienced this or have any other solutions? Thanks

I noticed that you are using a "door" Label Object as an "independent" Label. Door Label Objects have extra parameters and code to allow for placement options. This might be the reason for the Label's anchor instability.

I'll have to test it out. I picked the door label because it allowed for the symbol shape that we wanted. So door symbols should be used for only doors? As for it being independent, its calling out the ID of an object so from my knowledge i don't think it is "independent". I am also not the most knowledgeable about how labels work. Thanks for the help Ill test it out and see if it changes anything.

You can also check that the font that you are using is not 'Open Type' since they do not behave correctly in AC and in some other Mac Apps.
