topic Simple Dimensioning Question (remove of intermediate dim?) in Documentation

<T>here's a simple AC16 question.
I have a string of dimensions. they are not "static".
I want to remove "ONE" dim in the middle of my 5 dimension tags....how do I remove ONE dim without having to re-dim all parts?

I've tried the 'hatchet'.
I've tried the various dim settings on the dialogue box.
....what else am i missing?</T>

As I recall, select the node at the center of the segment and hit "delete".

....BINGO!
though...the thing a user needs to keep in mind is...the "NODE" in the center of the dimension IS NOT VISIBLE. there is no "dot" or node per say....you simply have to hover the arrow in the middle of the dim string to be remove, click it...THEN hit delete.

thank you Matthew!

Or, if you don't want a gap in the chain, select the left or right node and delete it, to merge two dimension units.

Dimensions have really A LOT or manipulation techniques.
The manual covers them all in a magnificent way (see: "Editing a Dimension Chain").
