External Drawing Scale

I have a standard detail, created in an earlier version of ArchiCAD. I have opened and saved it in AC10. When I try placing it as an external drawing onto a layout, the scale of the detail is incorrect: it's either far too small or too large. Attempting to correct the scale in the Drawing Selection Settings, does not work. Any suggestions?

What scale was the detail's View defined as in the original PLN?

The detail was drawn at 1" = 1'-0". I have also had the same problem with details drawn at other scales as well.

It's not coming into the Archicad 10 layout at 1" = 1'-0"? What scale is it coming in at?
