question about view ports disappearing

hi all when i use alt+f7 to bring a drawing into a page - it goes ok until i update something, anything in the drawing and go back to the viewport
then the drawing keeps disappearing and i have to use alt-f7 (bring it again) to the viewport

in ac10 - it didnt do it and used to update and not disappear
how can i fix it ???

View ports??? We're not in AutoCAD anymore, come out and see the light.

Drawings go onto a layer. Are you sure that layer is turned on in your layout book?

It may also be shooting off the page? Check the anchor point of your drawings and try a center anchor point instead if using the views internal anchor.

If it's neither of those we'll keep looking.

And please don't double post your questions. There's not ~that~ many of us!
