I believe this should be resolved in two either ways. Either when you move the detail in the section window, the 2D Documentations move along with it, maintaining the positions relative to the building components , regardless of the direction you move the detail, or, they <S></S>don't move along<E></E> with it, as in they stay where they are relative to the drawing itself.

But currently it seems to be a mix of both, it depends on the direction you move the detail, which is quite confusing and inconevient. I'd prefer the former ( 2D symbols move<S></S> with the building materials<E></E> ). Hope the developers can look into this, although it is a somewhat trivial issue.

<R>After placing 2D symbols on my detail, I moved my detail up and right a bit in the section window. After doing so I rebuilt my detail, and to my surprise, the vertical location of my symbols, relative to the model, remains unchanged, while the horizontal location has changed...

It doesn't bother me much... but just I decided to post it anyways.</R>

2D Symbols on detail views either are not linked to the objects or if Dims will become "Static" on a rebuild to avoid losing the information.

Um... how exactly do I link my symbols, labels and other documentations? They move when I move the location of the detail in the section view in a horizontal direction.

Yes exactly, that's what I'm talking about. If you move the detail upwards the labels text and other things stay where they are, that is, relative to the building components, but if you move the detail in the x-y direction, your documentations move along with it. It seems that you've replicated my case.
