topic Importing ArchiCad files into Plotmaker 3.1 in Documentation

I am an ArchiCad Start user and I am trying to import floor plans, sections, etc into plotmaker. My drawings in ArchiCad are 1/4" scale but when I import into Plotmaker they change to 1/8" and I can't change the scale because it is greyed out. Could the problem be that my printer only prints 8.5"x11" but I want to send them out to a commercial printer at Arch D size)?

Please keep responses simple. I am 70 years old and yet easily befuddled.

Plotmaker 3.1 feels like a long time ago. I assume that you are using AC 8.1 and PM 3.1.

Weel, I believe that PM 3.1 is the same as PM 9. In PM 9, go to Options>Preferences>Drawing Attributes. Make sure that the "Scale" check box is un-checked. This way you can set a different scale then what the source file PMK or Linked Quickview is set to in AC.

It must be that your Quikview within the ArchiCAD source file is truely set to 1/8".

Any Help?
