Apparently the photoshop file needs to be set up as an RGB color type. &lt;BR /&gt;

      <title>Black background on externally placed drawings</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Some of the drawings I placed on the layout, from photoshop, have a black background.  I say some, because only 3 out of the 5 I placed do this.  I can don't understand what is different about them.&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
