Black background on externally placed drawings

Some of the drawings I placed on the layout, from photoshop, have a black background. I say some, because only 3 out of the 5 I placed do this. I can don't understand what is different about them.

have you you tried ticking or unticking the "transparent background" box in the drawings settings??

I figured it out.

Apparently the photoshop file needs to be set up as an RGB color type.
