Hello,

Check and repair the disk permissions with Disk Utility, they seem to be totally messed up after firewiring process.

This has helped at least with newer versions.

<T>Just got a new 21" imac and transferred via firewire all the contents from original mac pro 15" laptop. Now I am having problems with printing AC and Plotmaker with some of the drawing printing but not all, especially text. It is an HP 6210 all-in-one. Embarassed to say I am still happily working in AC v8.5 . Other apps seem to print fine ie, pdf files, word, excel... As I send it to print or pdf I get a simple "printing error" dialog box with no details. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks for anything</T>

I have had a similar problem printing from ArchiCadd 11. after recently
upgraded my computer to a new iMac (iMac 11,3 model). My last computer,
an older iMac, ran OS X 10.5.8, the new one is on OS X 10.6.7. Archicad
opens and runs on the new computer, but it does not print (it prints
blanks, even though it goes through the printing dialogue) . The same
problem when I try to save drawings in pdf format. My old computer still
prints the same files fine. But I discovered one other thing: If I try to print the entire file, it works fine.
It only blanks out when I call to print "Current Zoom Only". I can still print if I run the program on the old computer
Have you seen this problem before?
Is there a solution?
