Hi Laszlo
thanks for your reply - other formats work OK.
The tif file which doesn't work is 24bit, 4960x3507pixels, 546Kb at 300dpi resolution.
Is there a maximum size Archicad 13 can handle?? I scanned the plan here at the office, so if there is a limit it would be good to know.

I am trying to place external content - a tif file - into an independant worksheet. It doesn't indicate any error, but the file is not visible. Any clues??

Maybe there is something wrong with the resolution of the TIF (like its 32-bit with alpha channel).
Try to convert the file to some other image format and see it that will be visible.

The maximum image size AC can handle is 32767 x 32767 pixels.
I think the reason it could not handle the TIF is because TIF can be saved with various compression methods. There are several of them. Probably the file was saved with a compression method AC does not recognize.

I should know by now that Archicad can do ALMOST anything! 37000x37000 pixels is pretty good!
I'll experiment with the compression methods - thanks for your reply. Cheers.
