AC 12 - Layout Book Pet Palette Vanished

My pet palette which allows manipulation of the drawings in the layout book has vanished in the project due for a meeting tomorrow - naturally.

It's working on other projects, I have checked all the settings between the working and non working projects plus everything else I can think of and still can't get it to reappear.

I can import a drawing/drawings into the book but cannot select them or manipulate them in any way.

Undoubtedly it is something small and painfully obvious but would really appreciate any possible pointers.

Chris, are you able to select a node (hotspot) on the drawing? If not, it could be that you've inadvertently turned on snap by pressing the "S" key. You can press "S" again to toggle snap off.

If it's something else, I don't have an answer.

I never use snap, never occurred to me to check that.

We've all been caught snapping at some time or the other.

Would happen to me when I lifted my pinky off the CTRL button before the S got pressed. I thought it prudent to change the shortcut once and for all.

Yeh, that must be it in a lot of cases.
Funny how that work-killer sneaks up on you out of the blue.

Great idea, I'm gonna snap right to it.

Would be nice if GS changed it so you could set snap "spot" to user size/ blink or be red; better yet be able to set it lg red and flashing. I almost never use snap in the remodel work I do. Never seen a built house yet that had even numbers. And I don't like designing square boxes, so there you have it.
