curved roof and incline in wall

1 how do i create a roof slab which is partly curved ? (attached PDF with the section)
in relation to this, where does the wall ends and the roof begins ?

2 also, second question, is how do i create a banister (simple, wall-made) that is inclining with a staircase ?
i managed to do that with a mesh but i guess there is a better way ?>

Make complex profiled wall. Check the help file.

That's for you to decide. You may choose to make it all as one entity (complex profile wall) if you like.

Do a SEO (solied element operation) Use the staircase (or a roof on a layer that you hide) as operator, the wall as target, Subtract with upwards extrusion. See Help files.
