<T>Hi,
When viewing my elevations all my fixed windows show the word 'fixed' back-to-front. Maybe a silly question but how can i turn this off or fix it? Thank you</T>

so they are being placed in round the wrong way?

have you tried placing them differently, ie. when you second click when placing a window are you putting the 'eye' inside or outside the building?
Ive figured out how to turn them off using 'Model view options'. However I have to show window markers for some drawings, so Im still wondering how to show 'fix' the right way around, or turn them off while keeping my window markers on, any help would be great, thanx

I've never seen your issue before. I can not reproduce this with Model View Options.
Would you mind sharing the setting that turns this on/off?
Hi,
I have the standard 'drafting' and 'construction' model view options, for 'drafting' under door and window options i deselected the 'with markers' option....this worked when I assigned it to each view..are these the setting u needed? When i want to show door and window lables this "fixed" lable appears again, I cannot find where this comes from and how to get rid of it while keeping my door and window lables? thanx
Hi Erika,
thanks I have done this. The MVO assigned to elevations shows 'fixed' on all fixed windows in the elevations...however its backwards...as show in the 3D image (its single glazed with the reveal on the correct side.) The only way I can turn it off at the moment is by deselecting the window and door marker in the assigned MVO. I would like to show window and door markers on the 1:50 elevations automatically as they are in the plans..but without the fixed tag...Ive looked every where in the window and door selection settings for an option to hide this 'fixed' but still enable markers to be show..but no luck...do you know how to solve this one? Any suggestions would be great, thank you

Hi t,
I'm wondering if you have the Australian Library. I can't find in the International one where you can have the "fixed" show in 3D. Is there a scale detail setting that might work for you?

Problem solved, the "fixed" lable visability is controled in the MVO under 'options for GDL objects' - 'show opening lines in 3D..'. It has no relationship to window and door markers as incorrectly stated before, this is a seperate visabiliy control option for window and door markers in plan view. Window and door markers can be shown on the elevations by selecting 'lable window/door' under 'listing and labeling' in each door/window selection settings dialoge box. Hope this helps someone with the same problem,
