Please Help me want to delete the fill in elevations

Hi
I want to delete all the fill in my elevations....
I used to be able to do so with archicad 12 by using the marquee tool,
crop the whole elevation plan > and then drag a copy so it won't make any changes when I delete the fills and just left with the outline.
but now I can't do so.... when I try to delete the fill... it just deleted the whole thing..... no lines left.... Please help me out

If by deleting fills you mean you don't want the shaded elevations then go into the elevation settings dialogue for that elevation and set the "Fill uncut surfaces with" to "Nothing".
