topic Drawing Issue Sheets in Documentation

<T>Hi All,

I'm intrigued to find out how everyone else produces drawing issue sheets.
There doesn't seem to be a simple way to do this - at least that's the response I have received from Archicad support.

Some people have recommended exporting data to excel which seems long winded and I fail to believe that Archicad cant run a shedule for this. In any instance, we already use excel for this but its a really unsophisticated workflow.

I've attached a sample of our current office DIS (drawing issue sheet) produced in excel. This is the kind of info we need to recreate (drawing name, number, scale etc) Critically we need to be able to automate revision letters. These are added onto each layout. They cannot be done on the master layouts as multiple drawings may use the same master layout but have a different revision letter.

Be really interested to hear how other people handle this problem.

Regards,

Do I take the silence to mean that no-one else does them??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Check out Cadimage's REVISION TOOL. Pretty sure it does what you want.

Thanks Stuart.

Looks promising at a glance.
I'll have a little play around with the trial version.

Do you use it?
