I've found it annoying that every layout updates every time it is opened. Even if it just going from one layout to another and back again. I used to update all drawings in drawing manager, and then work with layouts but AC16 never stops updating, so I now change all drawings to manual update when working with layout arrangement etc.

<T>I've often noticed that, if I re-open a project which I've recently saved with updated layouts, those layouts will update again, although I've made no change to the model.

This can be quite irksome. Is it normal, or is there some default setting that should prevent this from happening?</T>

I think the only way you can avoid this is to set the drawings placed on the layouts to be manual rebuild instaed of automatic.

This is good so long as you remember that you have to manually update the layouts.
But if you forget you will have an out-dated set of plans.
