PLine - How to use in a "Life Safety Plan" for perimeters?

How can I get (extract) the length of a pline that has multiple segments to use for a "Life Safety Plan" diagram? I need to show length segments of each part of the pline?

This object may be useful, but it show only total lenght off all segments.
It´s in italian language.

if you find something that shows it in "English feet and inches" that would be great. So, only way that you can show the "data" of the pline is by creating a GSM object? hum....bummer.

I think you have set it.....Options > Project Preferences > Dimensions to "feet & fractional inches". The object will show right units.

THIS ADDON may be what your looking for. It even takes vertical distances into account.

Place the Add-On in The AC default Add-Ons folder (or load it from Add-On Manager).
After restarting, Go: Document> Document Extras> Travel Distance

I got that "italian" line object to work....but I need it to say "TRAVEL DISTANCE" somewhere in the script file.....if anyone knows italian and knows GDL scripting...could you take a look at the script file and tell me where and in what symmatics (quotes? paranthesis? or what) could I alter the script routine so that it simply adds the words "TRAVEL DISTANCE" to the object?....much appreciated.

VIOLA!!!.....it appears that the object itself comes with "preffisio" and a "sufficio" (prefix and suffice) which is fantastic!....you can add custom text to the front AND the back of the object...

Depending on what you mean by "connected to the pline", you can also use the tools to model your travel distance. For instance, you could use 0width&height walls or beams, placed on a separate layer with another intersection group.

This way you could schedule it by floor, and you can even show it in 3D using a profile in a fancy way.

I guess I wasn't clear in my description. That object from Italy works just like I need it.
