I figured it was something like that, wasnt used to having to do this in Revit

Hei,

So i've recently started using Archicad, and took the Graphisoft course for beginners.

But a small annoying error the course holder didnt had the time to show us.

Was that when you have a composite wall, that has many layers fx a wood wall, and it meets a concrete wall with only a few layers the exterior windproofing layer is cutting trough the concrete walls where it meets.

First picture shows how that looks:

<S></S>https://ibb.co/khqckMQ

Second shows that I assumed that it was the ref line it connected to, but that wasnt the case either.

<S></S>https://ibb.co/NWSqYFz

Last picture shows my wood wall composites:

<S></S>https://ibb.co/3d1FQKq

How do I fix this, so that the layer called (Gipsplate - Utvendig) which is exterior drywall stops at the concrete wall.

Thanks to all in advance.

I might be useful to look into this chapter Archicad documentation:
The bit you are looking for is your <S></S>Building Material Intersection Priorities<E></E>. You need to reduce the strength of your windproof layer or increase that of your concrete.

<S></S>Options => Element Attributes => Building Materials... => [Relevant Material] => Intersection Priority<E></E>

Regarding the Graphisoft course, if it is the one I am thinking about, the intention is that you do that with the default template and build what it tells you to build. In that way it can teach you how to build without needing to front load you with how to make intricate walls constructions and intersections before you even start doing anything.
