The elevation view is a view of the 3D model.
So whatever settings affect the 3D model, they will also affect the elevation.

It is possible to control the 3D and elevation opening % separately, but I doubt that has been scripted into the default door objects.
I may be wrong as I don't use them, but I don't recall separate settings last time I looked.

The detail level in the MVO has nothing to do with the opening %.
It is simply how detailed the object will appear in 3D (and hence elevations).

Doors - 3D view overide

<R>I'm currently working with <S></S>D1 Garage 02 24<E></E> as found in the Archicad24 library.

I'm trying to show the garage door in the open position on the 3D, but show it as closed on the elevations.

If I change the Detail Level in 3D to "off" the doors disappear on the elevations too.

And I cant seem to figure out how to achieve this in the Graphic Override Rules.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that it's possible. All sections and elevations are basically orthogonal 3d views.

Thanks all.

So to understand: I cannot even "hide" the garage doors in the 3D view while still showing the other doors in the same view?

Other doors in the same view? Changing the 3d display setting of one door does not affect any of your other doors... Or were you talking about the MVO...

Changing the MVO settings will affect all doors in the project.

However each door should have the option to use the MVO settings or not.
Turn it off in the object and you will have individual control from within the object settings.
