Looks like your dimension default settings are set as 'static'.

To reset uncheck 'static dimensions' in the dimensions settings dialog without any dimensions selected.

You cannot change a dimension back to associative once it is changed to static, so you will need to redimension the drawings

<R>Hello!
I am working in ArchCAD 16 and the problem is that i have the wall with windows, but I am not able to put out dimensions in any good manner.
If I move the windows around after , the dimensions stay in the same place and are not connected with the window. Then i have to delete them and make a new dimension line

Cant get the dimension function to link with window object neither manually nor with Auto dimension tool.

I did read both of these instructions and checked the settings to have the 2D Hotspots enabled, but it still doesn't work.

Can sb help me with advice? Please?</R>

I checked that. But that is not the problem.

Why the automatic dimensioning doesn't recognize the windows that is what i don't understand !
