topic PM 3.1 R2 Fill Pen Issue in Documentation

<R>Hi All,
I have some lbks that were created with PM3.1 R1. These layoutbooks have linked PMK's (Also tried linked PLN's) of Quickviews with Fills. The Fills have pen 91 (White) set for the fill background Pen. (it seems not to maker if it is 91 (white ) or any color).

When the lbk's are opened in PM 3.1 R2 the imported PMK's or linked Section Elevations do not display the fill background. With the pen 91 at first I thought that the Fills display order was not "sticking" (Bring to Front and all). But it is actually just missing the pen completely.

If I do a New & Reset in PM and Import the Layout book the Fills show with the background, which is great. But the Book information needs to now be retyped (does not import with lbk) and the subset numbering is not retained and what else needs to be checked I don't know.

So be warned.

So it seems that Graphisoft patches as always COST TIME.

What is the most painless way to go back to R1?</R>

Did you check the Preferences of the converted .LBK to make sure the "Fill Background Color" is set correctly?

Thank You David,
What an embarrassingly simple solution (Not that you could not, as you have may times in the past, solved a difficult challenge). I will not say how much I agonized over this.

No need for an apology. If you don't raise questions - how will you ever get answers. Besides, you've probably helped other users who might have or might come across this same problem.
