    <description>ArchiCAD uses 2D symbol to represent it on the floor plan. It's separate 2D GDL element called "Stair Grid". Try to set background fill for it in Stair Grid Settings. I'm not sure you can set position of the fill there. If this doesn't work - then just use 2D fill that will represent the bricks.</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;Have created brick stairs with appropriate surface &amp;amp; vectorial hatching. Can't seem to get the hatching to show up in plan view. Any help there? &lt;BR /&gt;Thanks Tom&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
