topic Stair Tread Labels using Step Index in Documentation

<R>Using the process at https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/85388/ to label treads in section is easy in ArchiCad 22 but the problem I'm having is matching up the tread labels in section with the tread numbers in plan.

The numbers in plan are controlled within the Stair Selection Settings\Floor Plan Display\Numbering\"Start Numbering From" parameter whereby you tell it which number to start as the first tread. This is usefull for multi-rise stairs where you want to number each tread from the bottom of the stairwell.

The Section labeling gets its data from the tread properties. You can use Property Mapping to manipulate the tread ID but this ID is not controllable as a group. Or you can use Property Mapping to use the "Step Index" but this series of numbers always starts from 1 at the bottom and won't match the 2D plan numbers if you tell them to start from anything but 1.

Any ideas?</R>
