Create a view with just the Grid (on a grid layer) and a registration hotspot on the Archicad layer

Place this view on a Col layout using the hotspot to locate the view.

Place the same view on the wall layout but this time cut a hole in the placed view to cut the unwanted lines.

This method allows a single grid layout.

Hope this helps

Grid Line in Column Layout vs Wall Layout

<T>Hello Friends,
I need a solution regarding the grid line.
In the Column Layout, I need to show the entire grid element. (See Fig-1)
In the Wall Layout, I just need to show the segment of the Grid element. (See Fig-2)
I know how to how to show/ hide the entire grid element in the Floor Plan.

To achieve this I needed to draw two sperate sets of Gridline. One for Column layout & other for Wall Layout.
Are there anyway, thus I can achieve both scenarios using a single set of grid lines?

Thanks in advance.
Sadly, I am not aware of any solution.
This <S></S>should<E></E> belong to the MVO.

(The workaround is kinda clear at this point: Use an object for it and put this option into the MVO via a mvo object. This fixes at least the problem of needing duplicate lines, which is an error prone thing to do.)

David, that is a clever solution.

I was gonna suggest that Avi turn off the middle section of the Grid Element line, then draw Line elements (probably on a separate Layer) for the middle sections. Then Avi could save two Views, one with the LInes representing the middle section visible, and one without. The Lines and the Grid Elements could also be grouped.
