<T>Hello Everyone,

this is probably a very basic question...

I want to stand in 3d view and capture the view (or parts of it) as a 2d line drawing to place on a worksheet... I know how to do it from plan and elevations. There I just mark the objects I want as lines and ctrl+c and then ctrl + v on the worksheet, WORKS PERFECT! How do I do this from a 3d view?

Thank you in advance..</T>

Brainmaniac:

You can create a 3D Document by right-clicking in the 3D Window and selecting New 3D Document from 3D..., or use the flat Marquee to Copy and Paste from the 3D Window. The 1st creates a live connection to the model, the other just 2D elements.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
Ok so we figured it out here! In my 3d window settings I had the openGL instead of Vectorial engine. Once that was changed it worked. THank you for your help anyway.
