Dimension tool not picking up a wall

Hi,
I'm trying to place internal dimensions and have had no problems other than with this one wall. When I start dimensioning I get the icons (not the correct term) on all wall edges to show where I am dimensioning, but when I double click to place the dimension line this particular wall is left out of the string, as if it doesn't exist. I can dimension the wall itself from outer skin to outer skin but cannot dimension from other walls to it????

Hope someone can help!

Tracey,
If the walls are not parallel they will not dimension this way.
If you want to dimension walls that are not parallel you will have to dimension to points
