How to control shadows in elevations with Graphic Override?

<T>Hi, I've been trying to turn on and off shadows in my different elevations through the use of Graphic Overrides, I've made a special hatch for the shadow that I've selected to be transparent in my override but it doesn´t seem to work. Is there any other way to do it?

kind regards Fredrik</T>

Hi.

Look into this:
<LINK_TEXT text="http://www.shoegnome.com/2017/02/26/arc ... off-color/">http://www.shoegnome.com/2017/02/26/archicad-elevations-turning-off-color/</LINK_TEXT>

For the shadows, use a rule

Criteria:
Element type: 3D element (so it doesn't change other drafting fills, like story level markers)

Override Style:
Fill type: air space or background (override drafting fills)
Fill background pen: 0 (override drafting fills)

But I think there might be a bug in the elevation tool, because looks like you cannot control the shadow in marked distant area.

Best regards.
