<DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"><T>In ArchiCAD 18, all walls and lines default as "Existing" in the Renovation Filter Setting. In ArchiCAD 24, they are defaulted as "New Elements", where do I go to change the settings so that all items I draw is considered as existing unless I designate them to be new?</T></DIV>

Open Renovation Filter palette and click on buttons there before creating a new element. It's the best way not only to set renovation status for new created elements, but also to change status of already created.
