topic Duplicating a Master Layout within an instance of AC10 in Documentation

<T>I used to be able to use copy and paste to create duplicates of master layouts in PM9. This doesn't seems to work in AC10. Am I missing something? It's not too difficult to make a new master, but it seems sad to have to start over with with every new one when I'm only changing from letter to legal size paper, for instance.....</T>

You can press Ctrl / Option as you drag the layout you want to copy down. You will see the "+" sign as you left click while pressing CTRL / Option.

(oh man, I was beaten to it)
In the name of consistency you can no longer <S></S>Right Click>Duplicate<E></E> or <S></S>Cmd/Ctrl-C<E></E> anything in the Layout Book Navigator, nor individual Views in the View Map Navigator. However you can still <S></S>Right Click>Duplicate<E></E> entire Folders (with contained views/layouts) in both the View Map Navigator and Publisher Set Navigator.

Using <S></S>Cmd/Ctrl-C<E></E> to copy/duplicate anything within in any Navigator mode no longer works .. but it still works for the rest of AC

Anyway despite this small initiative from GS to keep us on our toes (and frequenting this forum) I think the new (well it was always there) method of Opt-Drag to copy/duplicate is much better. They should have documented this change though. I dont think the Opt-Drag method is documented anywhere by GS but as it is a OS-wide thing I guess they expected people just to know (i wasnt one of them).

Dont ask me why they got rid of the consistent copy/duplicate commands we had in v9 though ...
