I have different elements, a roof, and some profiles on the edges. The top par of all uses the same texture but it doesn't align on elevations (fill) or 3d (surface). Is there a global setting for this?

You will need to use the Align 3D Texture command.

Thanks Eduardo.

That's what I thought but it doesn't do it. My main concern is 2D representation (elevations). ...but having them aligned in 3D would be beneficial. However, it does neither This solution may work with two elements of the same, but I have a slab and two different profiles, one used as a wall (horizontal), the other as a beam (inclined). The top material is the same in all instances, so I assumed there could be a "universal" origin. but maybe not.

Thanks

It looks like the tiling direction between your two objects is 90 degrees off. Under align, there should be a direction option. Though in reality, that inclined section would not be the same orientation or alignment to the roof tiling?
It should. but I guess I'll just model the tile separately as Shoegnome does.

Thank you all.
