I viewed the videos many times still can't get a continuous linear light to achieve a continuous led lighting under the shelf.

What am I missing?

If you use Archicad 25 (or may be 23 or onwards I guess) getting such effects shown in attached images is possible. If looking for something similar Linear Volume Light or Text Glow effects I will surely help you.
