Hello, has there been any development with the GO tool to work with sub surfaces on things like window trims?

<T>I cannot seem to get window trim to change surface with a GO. I can only do the entire window, glass included. Has anyone tried this, and/or got it to work?</T>

GO was not created as a materials override tool, it was originally developed for the purposes of highlighting structures with particular property values e.g. fire rated walls could be highlighted in a particular colour. So to answer your Q, it will not work as a means of changing sub materials in windows.

The same goes for wall, roof and slab materials. Any override will override the object in its entirety.
