Surface material not coming same as Archicad model after Exporting IFC

Hi,

When i exporting in IFC, surface material not going same as model surface material. It's taking same as building material. So Is it possible to export surface material in IFC? Could you please suggest setting of IFC translator?

Unfortunately Archicad (and most other software exept BlenderBIM) does not support the texture part of the IFC schema. So there is not anything you can do with the translator to get the textures in the IFC file.

It's to bad. It would be fantastic to also communicate textures with IFC!

Since getting surface export for IFC will take a while (ASAP might be measured in years) - can you say why you need the surface with the IFC - presumably a particularly consultant you are working with? Someone might be able to suggest a workable alternative to IFC in that case.
