Is there an automated workflow for identifying and correcting overlapping text fields, a clash detection for text and dimensions of some sort?

If you mean exact duplicates at the same location: there is the Check Duplicates 'goodie' addon that I would consider almost essential for cleaning up these kind of errors.

It can be found here: https://Graphisoft.com/downloads/goodies

You need to select your version of Archicad to download a wizard installer that lets you install a few small addons.

Thanks for the reply, my issue however has to do with when different 2d elements clash.

If I may give an example with respect to associative labels.

When the associated field linked a label changes, the content of the label changes automatically. The change in the content of the label can clash with other labels or dimensions in numerous drawings. Is there any way that Archicad automates the checking and correcting of these clashes.
