Hide riser and tread on core only view

Hi,

Is there a way to hide the tread and riser and set them to finishes only?

I don't want them to show on core only or load bearing elements.

I can't seem to find a way to select, only the entire stair.

Check out this post, it includes modified Tread and Riser library parts (Ac25). You can make the same modifications in other versions, it is relatively easy to do:
