Is the text size of the dimensions set too small or is the pen used the same as the background pen? You can include the thickness of the wall in the string by clicking on the edge of the wall with the Mercedes cursor. If the wall is a composite structure you can set the ‘core’ and tell the dimension string to only dimension the ‘core’.

Open the Dimension Settings Interface, there you can set all Dimension Line/Chain Properties.

Select / activate the dimension line (Shift + click), click Ctrl+t (PC) or double click the dimension icon in the Toolbox, set text size in the new Dimension Settings window, click ok.
