Need a Mac Monterey HP Designjet T610 44 printer driver.

Hi, I would like to use my HP Designjet T610 44 inch, to print from AC24 on Mac Monterey system but I couldn’t find a driver for my OS from the HP website. I left a post there asking for information.

I had a look in plot setup in AC24 and I see a T620 on my list but no T610. What do I do to get my old HP T610 to print from my Mac Monterey OS ? Will an older macOS driver work on my machine ?

I am asking in advance just incase someone might know before I add drivers that may not work properly.

If not I will find a way to print my plans from my HP PC windows 10 system instead.

On your Mac in Settings > System > Printer is the HP listed? If it is you can delete it and/or just click add to search for connected printers which should offer the latest driver. I don't know how old the T610 is, but unfortunately driver support does get dropped. To be fair to HP, I did run a DesignJet 500 for about 20 years before it died of old age. They don't make them like they used to...

I will try and see if the HP T610 is listed in the system. T610 is a 2007 model, HP have drivers for it up to Mac 10 OS. I am new to Mac so I am wondering if an old driver might work or not ? I am very wary about driver sites as they can infect your computer quite easily.

Sad about your old DJ 500. My T610 is old but it has hardly done much work in the last decade. I have a recent Epsom 7220 MFC but it only prints up to A3. My Mac had a pre installed driver for it and no problems setting it up. I need to print A2 now.
