Add a fraction in a text

Attached is a screenshot showing a fraction that I "constructed" using several texts. How can I add a fraction in using the text tool?

For certain fractions, you can try typing the ASCII code.

¼ = ALT+0188

½ = ALT+0189

¾ = ALT+0190

That is hold the ALT key while typing the number.

Otherwise use the Character Map (it is a Windows Accessory) and you can copy and paste those characters.

But only those 3 fractions that I know of.

Thank you, Barry. Is there an ASCII code that helps with roof pitches? As you can see in the below copied screenshot, I used three text boxes to indicate the roof pitch (0.5/12). I have a fraction (1/2) in the nominator!

There are only those 3 ASCII codes that I know of.

It just means you can type ½ as one character instead of 1/2.

So the best you could do is ½/12

To have the text vertically above and below as you have shown, you will need two separate text boxes or one text box with a carriage return (enter) and set the top line with underscore style maybe?

I don't have Archicad running at the moment to try anything.

FYI:

You can create a fraction in Unicode by using a superscript code + fraction slash (U + 2014) + subscript.

Or you could just use a fraction generator site as in:

Thank you, Gerry, I would need to learn how to "code" in ArchiCAD. Could you share a tutorial?

My aim is to learn how to type the nominator as a fraction.

Just wondering, why would you put a fraction in a fraction and not just simplify it down?
