Creating Standard fills

I am wondering if anyone can help me. I am really not GREAT with Archicad but I know the Basics. I am working as a draughter at a paving company.

What I am looking to to is create standard material fills of our paving products that I can pass on to the architects who spec our products. How do I save these fills and pass them onto the Architects to use in Archicad?

Great, thanks that helps a lot.

But how do I import these fills onto another person Archicad for them to use?

Use the Attribute Manager to save a file (*.aat) that contains the attributes, then open that in the other person's ArchiCAD copy.
Or if you want them to be able to use the attributes you are using in your current project, you can also start a New file, choose the Use Latest Project Settings option. This way a blank new project is created that contains all attributes you used in your project file. Then send this empty project to you colleague. In the Attribute Manager he will be able to open a PLN as well to import attributes from.

You can use the Attribute Manager to create a .aat file which contains the fills (as well as other attributes, which you want to eliminate for clarity). The other user would then open this .aat file with Attribute Manager to import these fills into their ArchiCAD file.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
