I am getting this same issue. My layer combinations work but will not show in either the quick options or the project map view of the organizer (it will always show "custom"). I hope that previous a API installation has not corrupted the file. Have you solved this one yet s2art?

View settings / Layer combo's not corresponding

<T>All my views I have saved, with layer combo's, scale, model view options etc all set correctly, are displaying a "warning" triangle with exclamation mark, and when I hover over the warning get the message as in the attached image- "the settings in the frontmost window no longer correspond to the original view settings". I know I have set the layer combo's etc correctly, but as you'll see in the image the Quick Options pallette at the bottom shows "Custom" too. I have tried clicking on the "Get current window's settings" button in the view settings dialogue, but that doesn't clear it up.
When I go to one of the views and go to Layer settings, the appropriate layer combination is not highlighted (as if it is not set) but when I click on the right layer combo none of the layers actually change their state.
An interesting point to note is that after coming to the forum, then going back to the Archicad window, the warning symbols are not there! How bizarre!
I am quite careful when it comes to these layer combo's and settings, so this just undermines my confidence that I am actually seeing what I have asked to be shown.
Is this a known bug (that has possibly been rectified in the 966 update?) or can anyone think of a step I am missing in the setting of these settings?

Cheers</T>

I'm not observing the 'Custom' thing, the layer combination is stable (in 966). But I see this:

Activate a view, the window generates, fine. Then rebuild the window, without changing settings. The warning icon appears.

I've experienced the same bug, but I think it has been <S></S>improved <E></E>in 966.

They seem to appear less often and now double-clicking the views for a second time seems to make them disappear.

I wonder if it is related to View the problem James mentioned here in that it is a view definition/invoking bug.

Cheers,
just started getting this on a file yesterday. thought i was loosing my mind: AC10 966 NZE.

i think it also has something to do with the 3D window. my layer combinations are behaving themselves until i generate a saved 3D view - then they go custom . . . bad.

i'm also sorry to say this, but it didn't start until i began applying cadimage accessories and tools to my model . . . i have a feeling that it could be related to this "archicad - master only" layer thing: if the cadimage tools are messing with "hidden" layers, archicad's going to get confused about which layers are visible and invisible, right? just a hunch - anyone getting this bug who's <S></S>not<E></E> using cadimage tools? that might at least prove me wrong . . .
Nope. Just working around it and hoping the output is correct for now. Ben might be onto something with the Cadimage Tools link, I suspect.

For me the "Custom" layer bug seems to have fixed itself (maybe on the 1010 hotfix, dunno) but the scale warning still appears. Haven't had any issues with incorrect information displaying on layouts, so I just ignore it now.

Anyone else notice?
A bug?

If I select a new layer combo in quick options... it goes right back to "custom". The layer combo is correct in the "view settings"
